Obagi Clenziderm M.D. is a 3 step; prescription strength breakthrough acne treatment that uses a 5% liquefied benzoyl peroxide made with SoluZyl technology.

It penetrates your skin instead of just sitting on top to deliver more acne fighting medicine deep into your pores for better results! This liquefied benzoyl peroxide is clinically shown to easily enter follicles with a very small molecule to rapidly reduce bacteria and acne lesions.

Obagi CLENZIderm M.D. Daily System and Protocol

Step 1 – Cleanse

Daily Care Foaming Cleanser – Contains 2% salicylic acid to gently wash away dirt and excess oil. Contains menthol to soothe and cool irritated skin.

• Wet face with warm water.
• Dispense a dime-sized amount of Daily Care Foaming Cleanser into the palm of your hand.
• Lather and gently work Cleanser over entire face for at least 20 to 30 seconds.
• Do not get Cleanser in eyes.
• Rinse skin completely and pat dry.
• Wait 10 to 15 minutes to allow skin to dry completely before applying Pore Therapy

Step 2 – Prepare

Pore Therapy – More 2% salicylic acid to unclog pores, eliminate residue and reduce blemishes. Also, prepares skin to absorb serum gel.

• Following Step 1, dampen a cotton ball or pad with Pore Therapy.
• Apply Pore Therapy over entire face; avoid getting near eyes or in nose and mouth.
• Allow Pore Therapy to air dry on skin — do not rinse off.
• Make sure Pore Therapy has dried completely before applying the Serum Gel.

Step 3 – Treat

Serum Gel – This is a gel the turns into a serum when applied to skin. It contains the potent liquefied benzoyl peroxide that will penetrate deeply into your pores to clear acne and prevent further breakouts.

• Apply one pump of Serum Gel onto the cotton pad.
• Apply gel evenly to entire face; avoid getting near eyes or in nose and mouth.
• Wash hands after applying but do not wash medication off face.
• People with sensitive skin may feel temporary tingling or stinging during the first week of usage, which can be minimized by reducing the frequency of application.
• If going outside, use sunscreen after the Serum Gel has dried.
• Serum Gel contains benzoyl peroxide that may bleach hair or dyed clothing.
• Use once daily.
